Really going the extra mile
Whenever I stay over at a hotel I take my own pillow along so I can get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately when I left the hotel on my last visit I forgot my pillow there. When I got home I was quite disappointed that no one from the hotel had contacted me as I was in the area for a while and would have picked it up if I had known. When I contacted the manager to inform her she was extremely apologetic as she said that the staff should have informed me straight away when they had found it. She said she was going to investigate how this happened and was going to call me right back, which she did. She then told me she was coming through to Cape Town (all the way from Saldanha Bay) to drop my pillow. Thank you very much. That is what I call service!
