Lack of basic expectation of a hotel

After a highly frustrating experience at the Umhlanga Ridge Protea hotel. I have contacted the manager and explained the difficulty experienced during my 2 night mid week stay.
Which seemed to be justified by the hotel as they were 'EXTREMELY BUSY'. Interestingly though as I have contacted the manager who obviously didn't seem to consider my dismay with their hotel as she did not bother to respond to me herself, instead I got a call back from her assistant apologising and informing me how busy they were. I was also invited back however the formal invitation and apology seems lost between her email and mine, ( 5 days later nothing received). Apart from housekeeping not being done and when insisted by myself, a very haphazard cleaned penthouse without clean bedding and towelling. Room service also yet to be desired, as we received water with a slight hint of coffee and on request to receive a decent pot of coffee I was told to be patient as they are incredibly busy. After which I tried locating the manage and once again they were too busy. I should safely assume I shouldn't expect at least a proper apology as once again the Protea hotel team is too busy. Let's hope no one shares sam
