I was a Nimas member when Nimas was bought out by Resolution Health. We were promised an array of new benefits. Well since they have taken over their service has been in awful. To get authorisation for a specific benefits pertaining to psychology took almost 2 months - the motivation letter sent in by my doctor was sitting in Client services and no one could explain why it had not been passed on to Pre-Authorisation. I had to then call numerous times to get authorisation. And till now I have to call them each time I have a doctors appointment so as to get an authorisation number... this is a practice NOT adopted by other medical aids, usually one number would suffice. Recently my doctor contacted me and asked me to assist her in getting payment; she has not been paid for appointment's dating back to October last year. She emailed whomever she could at resolution health and not one person responded; I then emailed them on the 3rd of June 2013 and to till now the only response I have received is from Pre-Authorisation saying that this is a matter for Client Services. I have numerous 'delivery receipts', 'read receipts' and automated responses, but no resolution of my issue!!!
