Problem 1: I spoke to a Resolution Health consultant last week Friday to follow up on a claim I sent through several times since January! He promised to call met back the same day, which he did not. I am still waiting for some kind of response regarding this claim, which is absolutely rediculous! I have phoned Resolution Health at least 5 times regarding this issue en no one seems to have an idea how to do their job!!!
Problem 2: A Resolution Health Consultant told me on Thursday 18 April that the medical aid paid the account for bloodwork done in Unitas Hospital on 5 March out of my day to day benefits as I did not get pre-authorization for the emergency. (Reference number for the call: 475712). She said that the only way the medical aid will pay a bigger amount is if I get a motivation letter, which I emailed through. The information on your website alos reads: "Progressive Flex and Prestige: pathology and radiology tests excluding specialised radiology will be reimbursed without prior authorisation; specialised radiology such as MRI and CT scans need authorisation. Note that where applicable PMB rules will apply." How does this work?
