Unfair treatment and pricing for customers

I have now been redirected to lodge this complaint with Discovery due to Virgin Active telling me that it with Discovery Vitality and not them. I decided to change my gym club from Kingsmead (Durban) to La Lucia. Only to be told that I will incur a cost of Extra R30 per person due to the club having upgraded facilities (to my knowledge it is a normal club and not that of the Moses Mabhida club) Tracey from Virgin active stated that Discovery is well aware of the different club fees. My points are this, My friend visits the same gym but he does not pay the extra fee because he joined prior to 2010 which is when they implemented the new price plans. If there is extra fees for different clubs why doesnt he pay but I must? Why is the clubs fees based on where the club is located, is it so the rich and affluent can remain at one club? Why doesnt discovery warn us of this before we join? If i change to momentum will it be the same? If i continue to pay the R30 will I have to pay extra when they paint the walls and fix the roof ie R30 to R50 to R1000 while my friend doesnt pay a cent? Is this not a gross injustice? I am very unhappy with the steps I have to take to get answers!
