I joined Spectramed January 2013 after terminating with Momentum end of October 2012. I gave Momentum their 3 months notice period before terminating as per the contract that i signed with them, I even received a membership certificate from them which i presented to Spectramed when I was joining them. I also disclosed to Spectramed that my wife is pregnant and has a chronic condition. The problem started few weeks ago when she applied for her chronic medication, guess what - I received a call & a letter from their clinical risk management stating that the information they are having from momentum isnt corresponding with what i have on the certificate. I dont know whether this is a delaying tactic not to issue my wives medication as she badly needs it before delivery or just a tactic to avoid paying for her delivery, whichever way this is putting my unborn baby's life in danger. I repeat my last day of cover from Momentum was the 31st of October, I've even contacted my legal advisor because I dont know what to make of these allegations!
