Chronic Meds rejected for life threatening cond

I was asked by Spectramed to send a motivational letter from the Cardiologist wrt my Chronic Medication.
In the letter my Cardiologist explained that the Beta Blocker I need to be on is the only medication that is LA (Long Acting) - According to Spectramed - this medication does not fit within their formulary - as a result it has been rejected and I need to pay for it myself every month! PATHETIC!!! Anyone looking to join SPECTRAMED - my advice... DONT!!!
