We hired a marquee plus tables, chairs etc for a 70th birthday celebration at our home. We paid the full amount up front. Despite e mailed and telephonic instructions re delivery and set up of the marquee, they came to deliver a day early without communicating that they were going to do so... the driver damaged the garage with the truck. They said they would be prepared to pay the damages which amounted to R325.00. After repeated phone calls to Melvinia. and also attempting to speak to Cindy, who apparently would do the payment, but Cindy is never there. On our last call we were told by Melvinia that she had passed all the details on to Cindy, and she thought that the payment had been made, she would speak to her. Needless to say, we have yet to receive a phone call, let alone the payment for the damages. The attitude from M & M Hiring has been one of total indifference and lack of response to e mails and phone calls. We will certainly never use them for any function ever again, and they still need to pay the damages caused by their vehicle.
