I have recently joined a new employer and thus Discovery Health as their preferred health provider. After receiving my membership certificate, most details were incorrect and not surprisingly I cannot register on their website to correct this either (they did send me my membership number by SMS but when trying to register with the same number this channel has been stopped!).
I then wrote an email on Monday, 13 May 2013 giving them my correct details. An automated reply was received on the same day with reference number 2850209848 claiming that their consultants would either email me or phone me within three days. Today is 20 May 2013 and still no response.
I shudder to think what service I will get in future and prefer not having any dealings with this company again.
As I am a buyer in my organization, I am considering to collect all complaints relating to Discovery Health and posing the question whether we should change to another provider.
