On the 7th August my daughter went for testing of blood with the Haematologist @ the Mayo Clinic in Florida. I received a bill from lancet where an amount of R 2869.60 was rejected by the medical aid. Reason being a laboratory is not allowed to prescribed this DDVAP medication. Dr Gunther did provide a script for this particular medication which I collected from the Flora Clinic Dispensary.
I have been to Discovery on more than 1 occasion to get this sorted out till I reported the issue on HelloPeter. Jennelle Appanna is the person who got to the root of why Discovery rejected the claim. She has been in contact with both the 2 persons mentioned above trying to resolve the issue. In the meantime I am getting a million calls from the accounts department telling me that I am a bad payer and everytime I refer them back to Kim. 2 days I get a SMS saying that I am being blacklisted @ ITC!
I keep on getting emails from Kim saying that the pathologist is overseas and she is now back and she is looking at it and will get back and in an hour, but to date i have had no response.
I would also like to point out is I paid R 516.88 for the medication and I was charged by Lancet R 2869.60!
