We booked into the exclusive Radisson Blu hotel on 08/05/13. We had a function to attend to at 5pm & returned from it just after 12. During the time I was out the room, the pillows had been puffed and chocolates were placed on them. My flight was leaving at 8am the next day so at 6am I was getting ready to leave when I noticed that my new and fully charged Samsung Galaxy Note was taken from my attache case from withing my bag. I then reported the incident to the reception who told me that no one entered into our room which was a since our pillows had been puffed. I then had to wait for security to arrive at 8 so that I could report it, therefore I missed my bus & flight! The security told me that he will check the video & key card entry log & conduct a polygraph test. After calling & sending many emails, the head of security Mr Baumbach eventually reciprocated stating that he was not able to provide me with any information and that I should open a case with the police & he will share it with them. I am very disappointed at the lack of security & even more at the image given to South Africa at a supposedly premier hotel on Africa richest mile. From a disapointed European citizen
