Yesterday I went to Specsavers to pick up my specs. I fitted them and they seemed fine. When I got home and tried to fit them on again, I noticed that they we scratched all over and looked old. I called the store immediately. The person who answered my call was rude and said she doesn't know what I was talking about.
I have since returned the specs. When I arrived at the branch, I noticed that the specs I tried on were no longer on the shelf. This gave me the suspicion that they had actually repackaged and gave me the old specs that they had on display! The same pair everyone has tried on! How unhygienic and disgusting, not to mention deceitful.
I have paid more than R3000 rands for these specs. If i had known I was paying for used goods I would have not bought them at this establishment.
I am livid! They have not even apologized! I will NOT be getting my specs from Specsavers again!
Talk about saving bucks for themselves!
