I contacted Abacon from the add in the Sandton Chronicle for quotes to repair my fridge and dryer. James came through and quoted on the repairs and got the go ahead. He gave me a 3 month guarantee on both appliances - he butchered my fridge to put in a thermostat and re wired my dryer. I have called him back 3 times for the fridge and 2 twice for the dryer, which he took away to repair at an additional cost and got some one else to deliver as he didnt keep to his repair time. The fridge was then repaired by another company perfectly. Contacted James and he says tha the dryer is overused and he cannot come back to repair. Please do not use this guy - Pathetic service and doesnt keep to his 3 month guarantee. Unfortunaelt, he is going around ripping people off as he doesnt have a call out fee - might as well spend the money on someone else rather than have endless unanswered calls and combacks on the repairs.
