Samsung poor service cente

My samsung fridge just stopped working mid December 2012 and I called samsung support so that they can come take a look. Have repeatedly called the service center 0116565983 to find out when they will come through, each time after giving my ref number 4129308254 the lady either hangs up or i am transfered to a number that does not get answered if thats not the case I am told the technician is on his way and i should just hang in there. I have had to take two days off work 11 January 2013 and 15 january 2013 so that i can wait for the technician and this has all been to no avail
