Poor Customer Care service

I purchased a Samsung fridge on 30 December 2011. My fridge is now broken and its not even two years old. I called Samsung customer care on 13 August and am still waiting for a technician to come and fix it
I cannot purchase food to store and all my food has obviously gone off and had to be thrown away. What is the point of having a warranty if nothing gets done. Is Samsung going to compensate me for all the cash spent for take aways and food that has gone off? I doubt it. I used to love Samsung, all my household appliances consists of Samsung but now I think that I will have to change brands. Ex samsung lover!
