Activation of Edenred giftcard

I purchased a Samsung eco bubble washing machine in December 2012 with the 5 star promise. I wanted to use the giftcard (received as part of the deal) on the 21st of March 2013 at a Dion Wired store. To my dismay and embaressment I was to learn at the check out point that the card have not been loaded with credit yet. I subsequently contacted Samsung and was told that the process will take 5 days. Since the 2nd of April I have been in concact with Keletso Lwate (Samsung Service Dept.) but still no resolution. Today I contacted Edenred to enquire on the status of my card, it is still not "activated". An Edenred representative (Lydia) assured me that to load the card is as easy as an e-mail being send from a Samsung representative giving this instruction. Now I am rather perplexed on the reason for having to wait for more than 2 weeks for such a simple process. Please, someone from Samsung restore my faith in the product you sell...
