I purchased the above-mentioned item in around 2010, i have experienced numerous problems with the machine almost immediately. The machine was returned at least three times and the hd was replaced at least twice. I was at this stage informed that this particular model had a factory fault. The machine is now out of warranty and is experiencing the same problem - ie ; not able to read discs, unable to record anything from the hard drive to disc. Your help line 0800545454 was no help at all, rude consultants who eventually referred me to the technical department, which was an automated service informing me that it is an answering service which could not take my message as it was not correctly set up.
