Samsung 30 day promotion fail

I purchased a new Samsung washing machine on the 30 day promotion in Nov 2012. As part of the promotion Samsung would to exchange your old washing machine for a R500 voucher and month supply of OMO liquid to 'test' your new machine with

In short, I waited 20 days for the machine. It arrived without a voucher or omo (13 Dec 2012). As per the promo, I registered the machine and was told that someone will contact me for next steps. No one did.

After numerous phone calls and more empty promises I got hold of the courier company to collect my old machine. They collected 48 days after receiving the new one. This means that by the time I got the OMO to test the new machine, the promo expired 18 days ago.

At least I had the trade-in voucher :) I phoned to activate it, and was told to wait 48 hours. One week later it still didn't work & I phoned again. I was told that Samsung were not authorizing the cards so I phoned Samsung, again, & the supervisor said that the accounts dept were a bit behind, but the card would be active the coming Monday.

It has now been 9 days, and the card still doesn't work! 68 days after paying for the product. The real challenge seems to be delivery Samdung!
