Electric Buddy no refund on faulty unit

Paid R890 for Electric Buddy. Meant to save 30-50% domestic electricity. 3 weeks later unit had burnt out the adapter and unit. Have tried 5 times firstly to get the unit replaced unsuccessfully and then a refund. Sales Manager George phones and says he is coming to the house and never arrives. After threatening with ' Uncle Peter' and other consumer lines, Quinton who sold me the unit came to collect it and reassured me the refund would be in my account on 9th February. Of course nothing. His phone number is non existent. Today I again threatened with the press, consumer organisations etc.
Samantha phoned from Head office to say that a refund is not company policy not even on defective goods. She will get back to me by close of business today So here is a complaint against Gimme Power and their product Electric Buddy. 5 year warranty 180 day money back guarantee. do not be taken in.
None of their published phone numbers or websites work. New Number 0861927341 Members SAAEA!!
From Oct 2012 to Feb 2013 is too long for a dispute to be resolved.
