A warning to anybody who would be foolish enough to get involved with a repair service on a Russel Hobbs brand appliance through this ridiculous, pathetic company that gives you the run-around and zero communication or customer service even though they claim on all their automated responses that: "At Home of Living Brands, we pride ourselves on giving our 100% every day to ensure that our customer's needs are being met."
It has been months since I (stupidly enough) delivered a Russel Hobbs fan that needed a simple plastic part which attached the fan housing to the unit, something I could have fixed myself in a matter of minutes if I purchased the part myself. I did not read these reviews, nor did I see the numerous bad reviews on Hello Peter, and stupidly, I had the fan delivered to them for repair. They made me pay almost R400 for the "repair", which never happened, and it is still not happening and will never happen again! All I get is excuses and automated messages, saying that it was the wrong part they have, etc.
I have never in my entire years on this planet had such deplorable customer service! They do not communicate, they do not come back to you, you struggle to get them on a phone and there is just ZERO communication or "customer service". Their phones don't work (another excuse) It is like speaking to the living dead. They should change their name to The House of the Living Dead...
I should have just bought another fan and saved myself the aggravation.
PLEASE RETHINK before you contact them for anything. It's really BAD.
I can't understand why Russel Hobbs, which I always thought was a reputable brand, uses these horrible people who are destroying its name. I will never buy any Russel Hobbs product again.
