On the 04/11/2013 I bought a Samsung Bluray player 3D BD-F5500 and on the outside of the box they have a Youtube/facebook/flickr/twitter and accuweather banner with an important notice that content services are provided by third parties and can be terminated at anytime. Please refer to the disclaimer in the player menu for more information. Once I bought this product and set up my unit, I tried to connect to Youtube/facebook/flickr eg. only to discover for me to use this benefits they have advertised on their outside of their box, I have to install a cable from my WIFI router or buy a WIFI toggle. Nowhere on the packaging Samsung have a notice to inform the customer that for them to use these social features, that they had to buy extra electronics.
on 13/11/2013 I phoned Sumsang supports and spoke to Mduduzi Ngwenya and was given a reference nr 7111311865.About 48hours later I phoned again on 15/11/2013 and asked why I have not received any feedback from Samsung. I was promised that it (the feedback) would happen soon.
