I bought a S4 in May this year and had reception issue from day 1. It has now been repaired 3 times and last week the phone could not detect my sim card, on return to the service center I was told the motherboard will need to be replaced, again. I informed the service center that I expect the phone to be replaced. In my presence they called Mr Bradley Chetty and explained the issue, you referred them to Wilma who while I was at the service center informed them that it will be replaced and that I can collect the new phone 24 October 2013 from the service center. After numerous calls and mails to Samsung the issue has been escalated to managers and yet I have to receive feedback from any of these decision makers and still i have no phone. reference number 7112135151, and 2118104425. The BRAND store where I bought it from have stock, it comes down to a simple instruction FROM HEADOFFICE for them to replace it as the defective phone is at your service center. Statements by the service center that it takes 5 weeks to process a replacement is totally unacceptable.
