Samsung S4 faulty battery

I have had my Samsung S4 for about 4 months now and my battery has deteriorated rapidly in the last couple of weeks, to the point that my battery lasts no longer than 2 hours after being fully charged. I phoned samsung mobile and they said my service provider would exchange the battery with no problem. I went to my service provider and they didnt even know this problem existed. They phoned samsung while I was there and the story changed to, " no we cant give you a battery but phone this number and they will come to your house and assess it and replace it if necessary, free of charge". So I phoned this number only to find out that they dont fetch phones and I have to get it couriered there at my own expense. I then phoned samsung mobile back and the consultant said that he would escalate my case to his supervisor and he would get back to me the same day or the next at latest. It is nearly a week later and I have not been contacted. Not only has this been VERY inconvenient and irritating, I have also wasted money phoning all these people and getting absolutely nowhere. I still have a faulty battery and am nowhere closer to getting it fixed.
