S4 battery issues

I am a loyal supporter of Samsung but I am starting to regret it. I have been through 3 s3s due to faulty screens. You drop it once and they are gone. And now I am having to deal with a business phone that does not hold charge. Has a swollen battery and I am unable to get to samsung in durban because of business constraints. I have been informed by vodacom that the battery replacement is still the exact same battery so I will probably deal with this the entire life of the phone now. Both my boyfriend and I have the exact same issue. I feel disheartened that I have to worry about these things with such a expensive phone. It is costing us money as vodacom will not replace the swollen batteries over the counter as we cannot check them in as they want to reset our software. We will lose valuable business emails contacts and docs. The software on the phones is up to date as well already. Furthermore samsung kies does not back up everything on your phone. Twice it has admitted contacts documents and videos. Or apps. It is painful and bad for business when such things get lost. I am so fed up!
