I have a brand new Sony experia which is not even two months old. I invested in purchasing a protective cover and screen guard but nothing can prevent a faulty product from the screen cracking. As the phone is still under warrantee, I took it back to the cell phone store. They sent it away for further analysis. After 2 weeks the result came back: "Physical Damage" Yes, I know it is physical damage, I can see that the screen is cracked, I can touch it. What other types of damage does one get? Mental damage? Imaginary damage? The cost to fix the manufacturing fault is R5000? This is insane, why should the consumer carry the cost of bad quality?
