TV kaput right after a year and service center wanted to charge half the price of the TV to change the mainboard.
Contacted the customer care center and Sylvester was assigned to my case. After 3 weeks of contacting the service center, tried to follow up and was told by Sylvester to email him some details.
2 weeks later, I had to call the service center again to follow up and was told his email crashed so wanted me to resend details. Replied to his email immediately.
Another 4 weeks now and multiple calls to the service center trying to speak to him, the effort is just futile. Was always told he is engage with another call and will call me back but it never happened.
He happened to be the supervisor so was told no one else to escalate this further.
Definitely AVOID Samsung; they are quick to sell you and glad to charge you an arm for repairs but do NOT expect any customer service, from the customer service center.
