Visited the ISTORE on the 17 January 2013, to enqiure about the Ipod touch 5th 32g generation which has out of stock for last two months. I ask to speak to the manager Wayne and explained the following:
1. My name was placed on a waiting list on the 12 December 2012 for the product.
2. Prior to the 12 December a female assistance also took my detail, and said the default answer than within two weeks their stock arrives.
3. On December the 12 I was promised by the individual that placed my contact details on the lap top, that before Christmas I would have have the product, Just did not mention which Christmas of which year.
4. I asked Wayne the manager if I would be eligible for a slight discount as I am prepared to pay the for the 64g at a slight discount above R4000-00. He refused out right which is a shame as most of my products have been purchased at that store.
In my opinion customer service stand for nothing, as keeping a client on a line, is totally acceptable.
My responds to this, is to Wayne, is that he has no empathy to his clients or consideration to his clients well being as obviously this was a present for my son that past his exams with outstanding results!
