Philips globe with 1 year guarantee lasted 2.5 mon

My husband and i bought two Phillips Genie globes (specs are 14W 220-240V 50-60Hz cool daylight 790Im 56Im /w made in Lesotho). the globe has a 1 year guarantee but my husband lost the receipt. could Phillips assist us? we would really appreciate it. thanks
