This agency does domestic placements and in particular nannies looking after the well-being of babies. They promote the signage of a 3 months trail period after which one must make a substantial payment for the 'permanent' placement. This payment is non-refundable regardless of the employment duration thereafter. A day or two subsequent to the payment of this fee, the agency approaches the nanny with alternative offers. They do this because the agency gets a 10% placement fee from the employer. One could argue that it is within their right to make sure their nannies are happy, but this behaviour is border-line unethical. One also notices this pattern when investigating the nannies' CV's in closer detail. I recommend the calling of previous employers to identify whether there is truth in the matter.
