Lack of information and bad service

Before making my way to the department yesterday i phoned to make sure that i had the relevant documentation even after checking the website. I wast told that i needed my ID and R23 which is also what the website said. I checked that i would be assisted until 4 which is when they close as i knew i could only get there at 3:30. Upon arrival at 3;35 I was told that the cashier had left already as she works hours of her own. There was no one to take my money and without paying they couldn't assist me. I was then sent to get a form where a woman, making no eye contact or acknowledging me, told me to make a deposit at Nedbank and that i needed a certified copy of my ID. I then asked if someone would assist me if i returned at 4pm. She waved a hand toward a man at the counter and said her colleague would be there til 4:30, all the while not once looking at me. As there were a few people in the room i believed this to be true. I arrived back at 4:06 to a locked and gated department.

I feel that if i had been given the relevant info or the website had, all this could have been avoided. And as for the woman I dealt with... I think she was just downright rude. Jack up your service WCED!!!
