I am currently registered at unisa for my honours degree. Part of the compulsory subjects now are the research modules. These modules are an absolute Joke tutorial letters are full of inconsistencies, there is never any response from supervisors etc. I failed the semester research module in S1 of this year. Since they don't give you the opportunity to resubmit on these modules you have to reregister, and pay again to redo the module which I tried to do for the second semester. However when I go to register on the main unisa site it tells me I have already registered for this block and need to use the add module function in the myunisa site. When you go to the myunisa site it tells you that the date for adding modules has passed. This is a semester module not a year module and therefore registration for the 2nd semester was still open.(although its not now)... I sent three emails to the registration email supplied on the web and one to the professor that is in charge of this module and had no replies. Now its too late which means I will have to register next year for it. The service at Unisa is shocking it never used to be like this!
