I am deeply disheartened and disappointed in how UNISA run the registration system and audit of modules. Earlier this year I was under the impression that I only just had one module left to complete my qualification with UNISA (BA COMMUNICATION SCIENCE) of which I applied for a special assessment for as it was a module I had written and failed in the previous semester..I did the assessment and passed it now my modules tallyed up to 30 modules of which should be the completion of the qualification however as I received the news of my pass I was told by the lady from enquiries that the system says that the qualification has not been complete and was referred straight to a student advisor who also confirmed this saying that I had a compulsory module that was outstanding that I had to do in order to get my qualification. THIS WAS SO MADDENING!!! The module that was outstanding was a module that should have been complete during my first year, I was not aware of this because the self-help registering system at UNISA does not specify that if you do not take certain modules you will not receive your qualification, I was only made aware of this at the very end of my supposed final year now I wil
