I write this note in sheer frustration at the incompetence UNISA shows over and over.
It is impossible to get through on a phone to anyone at UNISA. Eventually I tried ANY number I could find. Their telephone directory also does not facilitate you being able to contact the right department in the first place. There is NO phone number for the Academic Transcript Department, a fundamental service that is usually provided for by a University.
One day, whilst busy, I just let the phone continue to ring for minutes on end and it was eventually answered. Unfortunately the lady was not versed in providing me answers to anything. She suggested I email UNISA. On emailing my query to UNISA, their reply was:
"Thank you for enquiring at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Your satisfaction is our priority. Herewith find the information on the attachment, kindly fill the form and email back to us. You are most welcome to call our Institution should any need arise."
Thank-you but I have the form, the reason I emailed was that there was not sufficient info on the form, that was my query, READ my email!
Another 3rd World African University... Home Affairs is more competent!
