I bought a Dining Table and 8 "leather" dining chairs from Etienne Lewis, Waterglen, Pretoria in August 2006. We moved back to Cape Town in 2009 and the chairs went into storage. When I recovered the chairs from storage in 2013, it is apparent that the chairs are indeed covered with a material other than leather as it is totally coming apart. When I approached the salesperson, Mariek, she pointed out that I had 7 years of use out of the chairs and that leather does not carry any guarantee and that I should have it re-upholstered!! I agree with the usage issue and the guarantee, BUT they delivered a product which is different from what their order and invoice stated and what I paid for.
