Lack of integrity

Back in December last year we were needing to have two of our appliances repaired (a dishwasher & tumbledryer). The owner of the business came and collected the appliances on Wednesday the 18th Dec and I stressed to him, more than once, that before undertaking any repairs he first had to give me a quote. He said he would and also promised to phone me the very next day with a progress report. Days went by and then finally I received a call from him saying that our appliances had been repaired and the total cost was R 1 480.00. He sent two of his workers to deliver and they connected the appliances, but before leaving they were demanding payment. I was not happy because this wasn't the agreement so I called Mike to tell him and ask if we could do an EFT transfer. He got really aggressive, shouting me down and insisting that I get to an ATM to draw the cash. He spoke to his guys that did the delivery that day and told them to reload the appliances if not paid. I didn't want that bother so we paid him.
Since then we've discovered a problem with our tumbledryer. I called him on Thurs (16 Jan'14) to report and he insured me that he would attend to it the next day. Still no show
