THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN 25 YEARS

I PLACED AN ORDER FROM AN ELECTRICAL WHOLESALER IN BOKSBURG FOR APPROX R500, 000.00 OF STREET LIGHT FITTINGS WHICH HAVE TO BE IMPORTED. THE COMPANY BEING PHILPS LIGHTING IN JOHANNESBURG PLACED THE ORDER ON AN OVERSEAS SUPPLIER. WE WERE GIVEN A DELIVERY DATE FOR THE END OF OCTOBER 2013.FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON THIS DID NOT MATERIALISE. THE NEXT DELIVERY DATE GIVEN WAS THE END OF NOVEMBER. ONCE AGAIN THIS DID NOT HAPPEN DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH THE CASTING!!! I REQUESTED A SIMPLE LETTER TO BE WRITTEN TO ME GIVING AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT EXACTLY CAUSED THE DELAY SO I COULD AT LEAST LET OUR CLIENT SEE THAT IT WAS NOT OUR COMPANY CAUSING THE DELAY. TO DATE AND AFTER COUNTLESS EMAILS HAVE WE RECEIVED ANY EMAIL WITH AN EXPLANATION PLUS NOT A SINGLE PHONE CALL FROM ANY REPRESENTATIVE OF PHILPS LIGHTING IN SOUTH AFRICA. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE SHIP IS DOCKING TOMORROW. HOPEFULLY WHEN THEY DO EVENTUALLY DELIVER, THE DELIVERY WILL INCLUDE MY LETTER I HAVE BEEN REQUESTING :) I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO ANYONE OUT THERE WHO MAY BE THINKING OF DEALING WITH THIS TOTALLY UNPROFESSINAL COMPANY TO SERIOUSLY THINK TWICE ABOUT IT.
