On the 21st of October i cantacted Best Camera Deals in Kimberly and spoke to Daniel Brown about buying a Canon EOS 650D DSLR with 3 Lens from them. I was sent through a quote along with the delivery charge of R200 to deliver to JHB. on the same day i paid them via EFT for the goods. On the 22nd of October i was informed of the tracking number and that delivery would be done the following day. On the 23rd of October i received an email from the courier company that i had to now pay them R3350 for import costs to deliver my package.
In my dealing on the phone with Best Camera, it was never mentioned to me that their would be customs and import costs involved, i was just told about the delivery fee. I immediately called Best Camera to tell them this and that i am cancelling my order and to refund me. Weeks later on 5 November i received an email from them saying that they have refunded me but to date i have still not received the money back that i paid to them, not a single cent.
i have now been informed that i will not receive my money from them. Essentialy they are this money from the public who go to their websiite and order from them. [URL Removed]
