In September 2011 Lee Lemlett oversaw a major renovation to my apartment. She led to me to believe she was experienced. Her price was good.
Her work was so bad and took so long, that in the end I was grateful to see the back of her. Each time she came back to fix something, she created another problem. There was no money left to fix things and everything she touched was a mess.
The electrics were not earthed. I had to re-do them. She chased naked cable (no sleeve) into the walls. The plumbing was leaking and also had to be re-done.
She broke tiles and still fitted them saying no-one would notice. She used left over aluminium floor trimming around the kitchen counter. It looks as bad as it sounds.
The parquet flooring is uneven and bumpy. It was not properly sealed and has discoloured.
Areas where she plastered the walls have lumps and are uneven.
She poured solvent down the kitchen sink and damaged it.
Now the kitchen counter and cupboards are collapsing.
She is charming and religious. She likes to reassure a person that she has been in the industry for years and makes you feel like she has it all under control and you are imagining there are problems
Stay away from her.
