Jan contracted to strip the whole kitchen down and then rebuild it, and renovate our bedroom cupboards, under his PERSONAL supervision and expertise. In 3 weeks he spent ONE day on site, otherwise he left an assortment of people to work, causing continuous rework. After 3 weeks, when again pointing out incorrect tiling, Jan and his team walked of the job, leaving EVERYTHING incomplete! During the next 3 weeks we repaired his work with assistance from other artisans. We redid : 1) the bedroom cupboards 2) Gas stove connection which leaked 3) Plumbing leaks fixed 4) Connect stove earth leakage 5) we smoothed all the walls and re-painted it 6) we removed crooked tiles and had them re-laid 7) Electrical work had to be redone to comply with regulations. 8) We had to remove glue and grout from wall an floor tiles 9) Ceiling has to be redone. In short, NOTHING was done correctly! For all this shoddy workmanship, Jan walked of with more than half of the contract fee.
