Thatch repair, not honoring guarantee

Full replacement of thatch done, 3year written guarantee on invoice.
6 Months later, thatch started slipping down from under the ridge over 1 m width. Made many phone calls, sometimes (5 times) made an appointment to come and see, but failed to arrive every time.
Damage getting worse by the day. Will get new repair done at own expense thereby denying Ernest to confirm poor workmanship for himself.
