Shocking Service, & Incompetence

On the 16th of October 2013, I paid Buildup Thatch Lapa & [URL Removed] R 26 932.50 (50% Deposit) for the installation of a rim flow Jacuzzi in my home & sent the proof to their salesperson, Francois. They finally decided to pitch with the Jacuzzi on Saturday 30th November 2013 (45 Days Later).

They have had to come back to my premises 4 times now to complete the installation only to have an individual assessment done and the following findings concluded:

Plumbing is completely wrong
Electrics are wired completely wrong

Today is the 14th of December & I have still not been able to use my new Jacuzzi. I spoke to the owner, Dawid, an hour ago & was told that the Jacuzzi remains their property until I pay the final 50% & if I fix it myself or get anyone else to fix it, they will not honour the guarantee. I am still shaking with anger after his conversation.

I would also like to point out that they changed their name at some stage from Buildup Thatch, Home And Spa to Build-Up Thatch, Lapa & Spa presumably in an attempt to hide form the various Hello Peter complaints listed under their previous trading name (which I only found out after the fact). This service is terrible.
