I've bought a property from Hercor and have had endless problems. Broken sliding doors, leaks, un-neat painting and touch-ups, rusted braai and leaking toilets and dampness. I am unable to open and use my back sliding door, close wooden window frame or use second bathroom. Braai has been replaced within 3 months and still faulty and completely cracked where replaced. Builders from Hercor has joked and said that all their houses are built skew and therefore the walls and lights do not align. They rush you to sign the happy letter and once the transfer of bond is done and money is paid you get no service but arrogance. They also shift the blame from builder to painter etc. Hercor does not keep to the buildings warranties and guaranties of the properties and therefore the consumer would have to carry the costs to do fixtures. I have found my experience with Hercor very tiring and would not refer any one the buy property from Hercor. It is shocking that they are allowed to build properties, benefit from the profits and not give clients the service and value which was paid for. Hercor has refuses bluntly to do any future repairs to the property after receiving all moneys.
