Zendi Construction T/A Channel 5 Construction built my townhouse in Sept 2012, finished Nov 2012.
There is no pre-paid electricity box, there is an legal connection for the time being. The NHBRC was not even contacted to say that building works have started, so no inspections were done till the cosmetics were almost done. I have a roof certificate signed off by Evance F Nyambalo, property engineer, but my roof is leaking and falling apart. Contacted Standard Bank to ask for their inspection report as they now asking me for my signed "happy letter" so they can make final payout to the builder. Standard Bank said they didn't find any faults and the report is clean. I have now asked for them to re-inspect the property as I had the NHBRC to come and inspect and the whole building has been build 2 bricks out, and the ground clearance are more than 150mm lower than legal standards... not one wall is straight - and i am not joking. Bathroom railings were fitted upside down, wrong pipes on toilets, ALL cupboards from kitchen to rooms are scew - could be because the floors are all running uneven, put a tennis ball at the front door and it will run in all directions. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
