On 26 September I purchased the 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner from Brights in Plattekloof Village. After leaving the store I decided to take a walk to Pick n Pay and placed the bottle of outdoor cleaner in my car boot.
Upon my return back to the car and when opening my boot I saw that all the contents of the ammonia liquid spilt into my boot as the spray nozzle was defective.
I immediately returned the bottle to Brights and complained that the bottle was defective and leaking.
Once I got back home I noticed discoloration of my clothing and some other items which was in the boot.
I immediately called Brights to bring this to their attention. I followed this up with various emails.
However, after a period of 2 weeks a Luis emailed me and stated that the problem is my own fault as I should have ensured that the nozzle was not loose.
Utter nonsense as far as I am concerned as you would expect a hazardous product like this to be properly sealed upon manufacture.
This product damaged the lining of my car boot, my personal clothes etc.,
Very poor customer relations on the part of this Luis and you can be rest assured that I will never ever again purchase anything from Brights
