Asked for quotation to fit sliding doors. Quote given was R18552.19 I accepted this quote. Then got request from sales person in order to go ahead they need a 50% deposit to send out a rep for final quote. I did this since I was expecting the quote to increase by about 3 to 5k. I could except that. The second quote then came to R37882.74 I immediately said cant accept this. The then revised the quote to R26765.32 but this raised alarms I the told them I dont want to go ahead, their reply was I cannot get my deposit back since I've paid a deposit and already bought material. On request to which quote they could not reply. I asked the sales lady if I can speak to the owner but she blocked me even when I went to the company. A laywer had a look at the whole quote and said it was not binding they need to pay back the money we've send laywers letter demanding money back but they did not reply. If the owner could only phone me or e-mail me so we can talk about this problem. I'm sure we can get to some agreement. As it is currently the case he is keeping my R9000 deposit in his pocket and I'm sitting with nothing. Is this how one do business?
