Generally when I enter a store for a refund I expect the worst. Most stores always make you feel like a criminal when you have to return an item. Anyway, a few weeks ago i had bought a 5L tin of road paint. A week later I discovered that i had accidentally bought a black paint instead of a white paint. I returned to Builders Warehouse, Northriding with the paint and the original receipt. The guy at the counter cross referenced the barcodes, took a few details and within 30 seconds had printed me a R550 voucher. Off i went to pick up the correct paint (which was a bit cheaper), paid with my voucher and even got CASH as change.
Such a hassle free process. Others could learn from you. Thanks Builders!
