Avoid J&R Aluminium!

Our business paid over R60 000 to J&R Aluminium from Brits, to have Wispeco Aluminium doors fitted at our premises. The installation was done after initial consultation with the owner, Jopie Robertse (Friday 26th April 2013). Our nightmare was about to start. Soon the doors weren't opening and closing properly and we had Jopie's team out on three occasions to try and remedy. Eventually Jopie made the trip to investigate himself (Tuesday 18th June 2013) and admitted the weight distribution of the glass needed adjusting. He promised to send out a team the following day to fix this and to fit a missing weatherstrip. It is now a month later and nothing. It is impossible to get hold of Jopie. Emails, SMS, daily phonecalls and messages - nothing works. I have never experienced such poor after-sales service in my life. Hello Peter is only the beginning. Social Media and the Consumer Protection Act is my next stop. I am going to warn as many people as I possible can to avoid J&R Aluminium, unless you want to feel worthless as a paying customer. Do yourself a favour: save yourself a lot of stress and find another aluminium company. Send to all your contacts.
