I went in to store looking for varnish for parquet flooring. I had asked for the best product. Firstly, it was difficult to find someone to assist, secondly the salesman seemed like he knew nothing about the products. I had asked for the best product for my floor. I was advised the best was a Borne Gleem by the salesman which I purchased and that I would need to use a sheep skin roller to apply (which I used and is detrimental to the finish!!). Firstly the product has a terrible smell and for a DIY enthusiast despite me wearing a mask and goggles battled to cope with applying the product. I completed the 3 quotes, and despite it advertised as a gloss finish, the end product is not satisfying. I went to another store who recommended Woodoc which I used in another room that is awesome. Builders poor advice and bad product wasted my time and have spoilt my room. I will never recommend using that product or ever asking a Builders salesman for advice.
