This supplier was contracted by our letting agents to fix some leaks. Whian came to do the repairs. When painting the ceiling, I had to REQUEST that he cover my furniture sufficiently to avoid paint spatter. He had one cover sheet only. Subsequently we ended up with white paint spatter on our dining room table etc. 2 days later, I noticed white paint on an upholstered chair. (There was also paint on the floor and against the wall) Anja apologised and tried to remove the paint from the chair with Tile cleaner. She promised to discuss with an upholsterer and report back to me. Eventually I had to contact her for feedback. She turned around and told me that "it's convenient to blame the contractor" - basically accusing me of damaging the chair myself. She is insisting that Whian covered the furniture sufficiently and that it was my responsibility to look after the furniture. (I was not consulted regarding the work to be done) She insisted on photographic proof that they damaged the chair. She bluntly refuses to take responsibility for the damage. Apart from the damage done to my chair, the quality of work was extremely poor and the leaks also still remain. Shocking service!
