I purchased about 6 Veti (Modern switches - i.e. the ones with the blue lights) from Builders. I was not advised that the switches are not compatible with Energy Saver and LED globes. Despite the switches being modern looking, and given that almost most homes have switched to Energy Savers. I spent a fortune on getting an electrician to install the switches (cost more then the switches). When using energy savers the lights flash every few seconds, which results in me unplugging the bulbs at night. The switches work with the older (energy draining) lights fine. I went in to builders who contacted the supplier, and spoke to the supplier for a while explaining to me the technical problems with the switch and that I would need to purchase some connection for each light - which Builders do not stock, but I can find at some electrical stores.
This is highly inconvenient, and I was advised I could return it to Builders - but my cost for removing them would cost more then the switches. In addition, I do not have my old switches as they were very old. I am extremely disappointed with the service, given that I have supported Builders and spent soo much in the past few months. Really sad.
